It was a big night at the Beatrice Speedway for Jordan Grabouski and Lance Borgman on Friday.
Grabouski won two Feature races and tied an IMCA Modified track record that was set 22-years ago.
Borgman earned a big milestone in his racing career by winning his Feature race.
Grabouski won a two-lap shootout over Kyle Vanover in the Stock Car A-Main, before crossing the finish line in front of Johnny “The Jet” Saathoff to win his eighth consecutive Feature in the IMCA Modified division.
Grabouski tied the Beatrice Speedway record of eight straight Modified feature wins set in 1996 by Johnny Saathoff. That year was the beginning of four straight National Championships won by Johnny “The Jet”.
Lance Borgman claimed his 100th IMCA victory by winning the Sport Mod Feature on Friday night. Borgman is the three-time defending Sport Mod track champion.
Roy Armstrong held off Taylor Huss to continue their intense rivalry in the Hobby Stock A-Main. Huss currently holds a slim three-point leading over Armstrong in the point-standings.
Josh Young won the Sport Compact feature.
