Fairbury Finishes Perfect Season, Runs Over Milford-Dorchester

FAIRBURY – Thanks to 570 yards on the ground, the Fairbury Jeffs are now well on their way to hosting a playoff game next week.

In search of their first ever playoff win, the Jeffs completed step one by finishing their regular season undefeated at 9-0.

Jacob Johnson ran for 301 yards and four touchdowns to put him over 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns for the season. He also reached that total in his sophomore season.

Adam Wasserman also finished with 261 total yards and three touchdowns for the Jeffs.

They were able to top Milford-Dorchester on Friday night, 52-13.

Fairbury will learn their playoff opponent on Saturday.

The Eagles finish their year with a 4-5 record.
