Deputies Seize Marijuana, Cash From Auburn Residence

AUBURN – Nemaha County sheriff’s deputies say marijuana products and over $5,000 in cash were seized from an Auburn house where four people were arrested on Sept. 15.

An affidavit for a search of the house on 2602 O St. says a deputy was following up on a protection order violation, but his knocks on the door of the residence went unanswered.

He later contacted a woman who said she had used illegal drugs while in the house.

Court records say deputies served a search warrant and seized containers of THC oil, hashish oil and marijuana.  The list of seized items includes five bongs and other smoking devices. Deputies report finding $438 in marked bills in a purse, $290 in marked bills in a separate purse and $4,380 in a backpack.

Online records Wednesday do not show formal charges being filed against the four, which included two residents of the house, 19-year-old Blake Reeves and 22-year-old Nicole Shaw.
Also arrested were 22-year-old Mark Davidson and 25-year-old Akasha Moyer.
Shaw was sentenced to eight months probation for misdemeanor assault in August.
