Nebraska City Repaving part of Orchard Drive, Will be One Lane for Around One Week

NEBRASKA CITY – A city road will be only one lane for the next week or so after the city was forced to repave it with concrete.

Construction Manager of the city Marty Stovall, said on Thursday that despite repair efforts, Orchard Drive (HWY 75), east of 16th St., has continued to buckle under the heat.

Stovall said that they will put down concrete on the two-lane road and therefore the street will be limited to one-lane for at least one week. Before the concrete repaving, city crews attempted to use an asphalt mix to repair the roads faster.
