WILBER – A multi-sport star at Wilber-Clatonia is officially a future Husker after Hunter Cerveny committed to play baseball at Nebraska.
The junior announced his commitment via Twitter Saturday afternoon.

Cerveny has been one of the best hitters for Wilber Legion Post 101 while piling up strikeouts when he pitches. He helped the Wilber juniors claim a state championship in 2016. In 2017 he was on the senior team that finished runner-up in Class C.
Cerveny recently completed his junior season of football and was part of Wilber-Clatonia’s undefeated championship team last season. He joins a Husker team that appears to be on the rise under Darin Erstad after claiming its first Big Ten regular season title last spring.
