Beatrice “Tips Off” Winter Sports Season with Christmas Fun

BEATRICE – Is that a Christmas present? No, that’s Beatrice Head Boys’ Basketball Coach, Tyler Struck, and also the best dressed of the respective Beatrice Head Coaches that were dressed up in Christmas outfits.

Beatrice High School welcomed in the 2016-17 winter sports slate with some Christmas themed fun. NCN’s Bryan Cook was emcee of the event and introduced each of the athletes that will be participating in wrestling, basketball, swimming, cheer and dance this winter.

Each team had the opportunity to decorate their coach as a Christmas item, with the winner taking home a little tree trophy. The crowd, well the boys’ basketball team, roared the loudest for Coach Struck, making him the winner.

The night also featured an edition of Beatrice Sports Family Feud. Each of the teams faced off in trying to answer fun questions about athletes in the school.

As it continues to get colder outside, you can start to see the excitement at Beatrice High School for all of these teams that begin their season soon.
