Beatrice Boys Upset Seward Thanks to Huge 1st Quarter

SEWARD, Neb. – The Beatrice Orangemen took a 21 point 1st quarter lead and eventually took down Seward on the road.

Beatrice beat Seward 58-46 on Friday night.

The Orangemen took a 19-2 lead into the 2nd quarter and were able to hang on the rest of the way.

Dillion Buss was the scoring leader for Beatrice with 16, Graham Southwick had 12 with AJ Mahoney and Trevor Schmale scoring 10 points.

Seward was led by Brett Meyer with 19 points. Nate Lliteras scored 12.
