The second seeded Eagles will move on to face #3 Falls City Sacred Heart on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the City Auditorium. It’s a rematch of the State Football Semifinals in Class D2. The Raiders tied it at 30 on an Ian Salts three pointer, but were unable to take the lead at all in the fourth.
In the “B” Division game, #2 Sterling had no issues in beating #7 Exeter-Milligan, 45-27. The Timberwolves had the lead down to nine in the second quarter before Dylan Benson hit a three pointer at the halftime buzzer. Benson led the Jets with nine points. They advance to play #3 Diller-Odell in the semifinals on Thursday at 8 p.m. at SCC.
